The day I got a sunburn

On Monday, Zeke and I met Nathan fora picnic lunch at the library. Zeke was being super cute!  He started doing squats at the fountain. :)

Aren't they sweet?  I love my guys!

Yes, I got my first sunburn of the year that day.  Hopefully, it's my last!

The Red Balloon

Last Saturday Zeke got his first balloon and he loved it!  It's amazing how the little things are so exciting.

He didn't want to let go of it when we got home.  It was just as great at home as it was at the restaurant. 

After he finally let it go Nate got this adorable shot.  Wow. 

Standing up

I don't have a picture of it, but Zeke can climb up to a standing position against his crib rail now. I have to be careful that I don't leave the rail down at night so he doesn't stand up and flip over the top! He's getting more and more bold with the things he tries to do. I like seeing him challenge himself to do better and better at all his little attempts.

Zeke loves his sunglasses! We went for a walk with Nate on Sunday and he wore them for over an hour without trying to take them off even once. I think he knows he looks good in them. :)

Zeke discovered how good windows taste!  We thought it was so funny that we had to get a picture from the outside!  Such a silly kid!

Picking our Christmas Tree

We got our tree early this year!  I think it was December 6th!  Pretty amazing if you'd ask me.

Zeke and Nate had to check to make sure the coast was clear so we could leave to get our christmas tree. silly boys!

We went up a couple blocks to Young Stocks where we saw my cousin Cory and found the perfect tree.

Finally he approved of a lovely frazier tree so we went to starbucks to celebrate. After we got home and set the tree up, we went to a Christmas Cantata at Fountain Community Church.  It was pretty fun.  A great way to get into the christmas mood.

Backyard stuff today!

I can't believe I'm actually caught up to today!  As we speak, Nathan and Tino are in the back yard working on the gates for our back fence. It's raining so Tino brought a canopy and they added a tarp to create a large workspace. 

Zeke and I made Chocolate Chip Cookies for the guys!

Well, he slept and I baked...  I still think that means he helped. :)

They've completed 3 gate frames...  You can see one in place on the fence, one on the tree and they are still looking at the last one.  Things are coming together!

Zeke and I after we did the dishes!  We're so productive today! Maybe I'll update more as the day rolls on if there's more to report.  We'll see if productivity continues.
