Alley Concert!

We took Zeke to his first "community event". We went to a Concert in the Alley! It was awesome! We saw Lucky Brown and the Funk Revolution. They were a really fun band with some great talent. We took a picture, but it didn't really get a picture of the band... more Zeke and a bunch of peoples backs. It was fun! Too bad it was the last one for the summer! Maybe we'll catch more next year!

Zeke's changing!

To some, this may seem silly, but to Nate and I it's awesome! Zeke has started hanging on while we hold him. See how Zeke has his arm wrapped over Nathan's? This is totally new and makes it feel more and more like Zeke knows us and has placed his full trust in us. I love it! I think Nate is very pleased in these pictures! What a proud Dad!

6 week midwife appointment

This photo is of Ann Tive our Midwife! She did amazing for us!

The six week appointment went well. Zeke now weighs 11 lbs and 15 oz's! He's healthy and she was very impressed with his strength and squirming... As for me, my recovery has been set back a couple weeks probably because of my postpartum hemorrhage 10 days after the delivery, so I still have a couple weeks left of recovery I guess.

Since the appointment, I've gone for two "rulks" (run/walks) for an hour and a half to two hours each! it was awesome! I feel so much more free when I can get outside and get active! Zeke came along in our jogging stroller and just ended up falling asleep. :)
