Broken Sewer Extravaganza

Here's where it all starts... Nate was outside washing our windows when he notices this:
Then after realizing that it was our sewer that is messed up, we immediately stopped using water and started freaking out because how are we supposed to have friends thanksgiving at our house if we can't even use the bathroom???!!! So:
Abby's boyfriend Jesse came over and helped Nate figure out what needed to be done and how to do it. Thank you so much Jesse for all your help and hard work! We are so, so, so thankful for your willingness to get right into the crap to help us fix our problem.
This thing Nate is holding is what was causing the clog which apparently was about 20-30 feet into our backyard.

Here is the beautiful new portion of sewer pipe so we don't have to deal with a messed up sewer anymore! Yay!
Filling the hole back in.
Jesse was so grossed out by the whole thing that he refused the lunch I tried to give him. At one point, he almost face planted in all that crap! I think I would lose my appetite too!

This was a previous hole in our original pipe that was covered up by a small rounded slab of cement.
Thank you so much Jesse for all your knowledge and willingness to help us out! Thanks Cilicia for being so willing to jump in there and do whatever we asked of you and thank you Dad for being willing to give us as much advice as needed and even stopping by to check it out. We are really blessed to have all of you! THANK YOU!
